Brunnstrom Injured

by Chelsea

Swedish rookie Fabian Brunnstrom appears to have been injured late in last night’s game against the Ducks.

Fabian Brunnstrom was hobbling around today with a protective boot on his foot, and coach Dave Tippett listed him as day to day with a lower body injury.

He sat out much of the third period Saturday, so he was hurt in the game.

Protective boot hardly sounds day-to-day, but hopefully he’s just being very very cautious. It sounds like Mark Parrish gets to regain his spot in the lineup, and played out with Steve Ott and Mike Ribeiro during practice today.

  1. I really hope it is nothing serious. He has been showing so much improvement, I’d hate to see him have a big setback.

  2. Somebody by us in the line at practice today asked him, and he said he’ll be out for about two more weeks.
