For a summary of the wins and losses from Thursday’s games, including team points, click the link below.

Tampa Bay Lightning at Buffalo Sabres: 5-2 Lightning
Lightning: 9 points (3-3-3) | Sabres: 14 points (6-2-2)

Atlanta Thrashers at New York Rangers: 3-2 Rangers (The Ranger are officially the first team to break 20 points this season and we remain one of the only two teams to have beaten them in regulation.)
Rangers: 21 points (10-2-1) | Thrashers: 6 points (2-6-2)

New York Islanders at Philadelphia Flyers: 3-2 Flyers in OT (I thought this would go into a shootout but Jeff Carter scored for Philly with only 0:23 left in OT. I was really hoping the Islanders would pull through because now the Flyers are beating us in points.)
Flyers: 11 points (4-3-3) | Islanders: 5 points (2-6-1)

Ottawa Senators at Florida Panthers: 2-1 Senators
Sens: 9 points (4-5-1) | Panthers: 8 points (4-5-0)

Montréal Canadiens at Minnesota Wild: 2-1 Canadiens
Canadiens: 15 points (7-1-1) | Wild: 13 points (6-2-1)

Edmonton Oilers at Nashville Predators: 3-1 Predators
Preds: 11 points (5-4-1) | Oilers: 9 points (4-4-1)

Carolina Hurricanes at St Louis Blues: 1-0 Hurricanes (This was the Cane’s third shut-out of the season.)
Canes: 12 points (5-2-2) Blues: 10 points (5-4-0)

Columbus Blue Jackets at Colorado Avalanche: 4-2 Blue Jackets
Blue Jackets: 8 points (4-6-0) | Avalanche: 10 points (5-5-0)

Boston Bruins at Calgary Flames: 3-2 Flames
Flames: 13 points (6-3-1) | Bruins: 13 points (5-3-3)

Pittsburgh Penguins at Phoenix Coyotes: 4-1 Coyotes (Slightly unrelated but interesting tidbit: Apparently the Penguins fans are as bored by Sid Crosby as I am.)
Coyotes: 8 points (4-4-0) | Penguins: 12 points (5-4-2)

Vancouver Canucks at Los Angeles Kings: 4-0 Canucks (This is the Canuck’s second shut-out of the season.)
Canucks: 10 points (5-5-0) | Kings: 7 points (3-5-1)

Detroit Red Wings at San Jose Sharks:4-2 Sharks (Nice that the Sharks are totally cleaning up in our division. Or, not.)
Sharks: 18 points (9-2-0) | Red Wings: 16 points (7-2-2)

Predicted winners: Sabres, Rangers, Flyers, Senators, Wild, Oilers, Blues, Avalanche, Bruins, Penguins, Canucks, Sharks.
Actual winners: Lightning, Rangers, Flyers, Senators, Canadiens, Predators, Hurricanes, Blue Jackets, Flames, Coyotes, Canucks, Sharks.
So I got 5/12 right. Either I suck at calling this, or the teams are playing really inconsistently lately. I’m going to go with I don’t suck. Haha. In any case, there are still a lot of teams with more points than our dear Stars…
