There has also been some discontent in that a lot of people feel he wasn't necessary. As you mentioned, we did already have Ott. He's a fan favorite here and that hasn't changed with the addition of the league's biggest pest. I'm not sure why having Avery here would change how people feel about Ott. They play different games - Avery's is a little dirtier, a little less light-hearted.
